HR Strats / Data Engineer – Vice President, HR Business Management

Overview

Vice President - HR Strats / Data Engineer to lead HR service delivery automation in Bengaluru, building scalable HR data-driven solutions and internal applications.

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and deploy internal HR applications and tools with UI, logic, workflow, and data.
• Lead HR process cycles end-to-end (compensation, workforce planning, talent reviews).
• Own the full product and development lifecycle from discovery and requirements through enhancement.
• Develop backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and integrations using Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Apply software engineering practices such as version control, code review, automated testing, and observability.
• Evaluate and deploy emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, AI agents, workflow automation) for HR analytics and operations.
• Integrate with governed HR/workforce data with validation, access controls, auditability, and sensitive data handling.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another quantitative discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years in consulting/transformation/automation/AI enablement/operational excellence.
• At least 10 years’ relevant experience generally expected.
• Strong Python and SQL development skills for production applications/services/data workflows.
• Experience with web app architecture, APIs, source control, testing frameworks, and modern practices.
• Strong understanding of data governance, controls, and model validation.
• Strong communicator translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders to build working products.
