Global Benefits Specialist (Fixed Term Contract)

Overview

Global Benefits Specialist to design, build, and implement scalable international benefits programs on a 12-month fixed term contract based in India.

What you'll do

• Design and stand up new benefits programs and processes using automation.
• Administer and support statutory and supplementary local benefits programs in India and other countries.
• Support benefits enrollment cycles and improve administration processes/systems (preferably Workday).
• Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with local legislation and standards, including India’s Labour Codes.
• Track and report budget metrics; analyze claims and utilization data to identify trends and risks.
• Manage external vendors by liaising with brokers/insurers and supporting renewal and RFP processes.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex benefits queries and resolve sensitive issues.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of experience in benefits, total rewards, or related HR discipline.
• Exposure to multi-country benefit programs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally in HR or a business-related field.
• Working knowledge of benefits compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including India.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) and integration with SaaS HR systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel for data-driven work.
• Near-native fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
