Global Trade Business Systems Analyst 4

Overview

Analyze complex business problems and design automated system solutions for global trade and business operations, translating business requirements into functional specifications within cross-functional teams supporting Lam's digital transformation.

What you'll do

• Deliver business process improvements based on industry trends, business knowledge, and expertise.
• Facilitate requirements gathering through process mapping workshops, interviewing, as-is and to-be analysis, and other techniques.
• Translate and document business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, and diagrams to solve complex business problems.
• Clearly articulate the impact of business problems, benefits, and business case.
• Prioritize business requirements and recommend changes to meet business expectations.
• Collaborate in cross-functional projects with technical, functional, and business teams, and vendors to manage implementations.
• Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, process design and development in support of current and new projects.
• Assess the risks of various solutions looking across multiple applications.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of related experience in Global Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain in Manufacturing or other highly regulated industries.
• Skilled in analytical techniques and practices to support problem solving.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, for various levels and audiences.
• Knowledge of foreign trade and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with the process of engaging in contractual obligations.
• SQL programming.
• Business Process Automation (BPA).
• QuickBase.
• Microsoft PowerApps.
• SAP ECC.
• SAP GTS.
• HANA.
• Data Warehousing.
• Cross Functional Testing.
• SDLC.
• Ticketing and governance.

Nice to have

• Project management knowledge or experience is beneficial.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Lam offers hybrid roles. On-site Flex: 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with remote work for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex: 1-2 days per week on-site, remote the rest of the time.
