Overview
Graduate engineering role supporting the Cooling Systems Engineering team in product development of liquid-cooling equipment, particularly Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs).
What you'll do
- Support engineering calculations for coolant flow and pressure drop, pump operating-point evaluation, and heat-exchanger sizing and performance assessment.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining engineering requirements, component specifications, design calculations, test plans and reports, and wetted material and component lists.
- Support the evaluation of CDU components such as pumps, heat exchangers, valves, filters, expansion tanks, flow, temperature and pressure sensors, and piping, hoses and fittings.
- Assist engineers during prototype build, lab testing, functional testing, leak testing and design verification.
- Support analysis of test data and comparison against calculated or specified performance.
- Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, DFM, and engineering change assessments.
- Support 3D CAD modelling, drawing updates, BOM verification and engineering documentation where required.
- Maintain assigned activities, deliverables and evidence in Jira or the applicable project-management system.
- Collaborate with Mechanical Design, Systems Engineering, Electrical, Controls, Reliability, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Lab teams.
- Follow applicable safety, quality, data-privacy and engineering procedures.
