Graduate Engineer – Quality Engineer

Overview

A graduate engineering role in quality engineering, focused on in-process quality checks, non-conformance handling and process quality support within manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Conduct regular in-process quality checks using measuring instruments and verify against drawing, control plan and PFD.
• Generate quality reports and evaluate the results.
• Ensure adherence to process quality and educate production on it.
• Communicate defect nature to the production team daily and generate NC reports.
• Take part in customer and internal audits, observe non-conformances and work for their timely closure across departments.
• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to implement process improvements and resolve technical challenges.
• Respond quickly to issues and efficiently troubleshoot problems as needed.
• Work independently as well as part of a team.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Make SAP entries using basic computer skills.

What you'll need

• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresher; previous experience in or with MS Office and ERP SAP.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (casting, extrusions, surface treatment, sheet metal, machining, riveting, and assembly).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, routing charts, BOMs, and CAD models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate across teams and lead operators technically.
