Graduate Engineer Trainee

What you'll do

• Develop and debug Java code to meet functional requirements.
• Design systems, debug code, and implement unit tests to meet functional product requirements.
• Review functional requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. QA and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Discuss with stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve production issues.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting them for architectural review.
• Track bugs raised by the QA team and fix them.

What you'll need

• Proven work experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing code as per requirement.
• Hands-on experience with writing good unit tests.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Springboot and React.js (must have).
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Nice to have

• Experience on AWS.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
