Graduate Engineer Trainee

Overview

Graduate Engineer Trainee role focused on generating production schedules, managing material shortages, and releasing job cards to support uninterrupted manufacturing output and sales.

What you'll do

• Generate daily and weekly production schedules.
• Generate a Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet required output with available capacity.
• Manage shortages to maximize clear to build and on time starts and finishes.
• Release job cards in line with MRP and action exception messages.
• Monitor the integrity of job card data to ensure MRP signals are correct.
• Collaborate with ops team to provide output commits and ensure resources are appropriately allocated.
• Define daily and weekly production goals to track adherence to the plan.
• Collaborate with Flow Leaders and Production Line Managers to ensure buy-in and adherence to the plan.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Biomedical Engineering.
• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of relevant internship or industrial experience.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering fundamentals.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Internship or academic project experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
• Positive attitude with strong ownership and collaboration skills.
