Overview
Graduate Mechanical Engineer supporting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, fire protection and security systems design under the supervision of experienced engineers.
What you'll do
- Design ventilation, heating and cooling installations.
- Design water, wastewater and rainwater distribution systems.
- Design lighting, power distribution, fire signaling, burglary and CCTV systems.
- Prepare calculations, sketches, 3D models, diagrams, schematics and working drawings.
- Prepare project reports, presentations and drawings for specified project phases.
- Complete tasks within agreed budgets and schedules.
- Perform design checks and follow company standards and procedures.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in building services.
- At least 1 year of HVAC engineering experience.
- Knowledge of design and calculation software such as AutoCAD.
- Strong English language skills.
- Understanding of HVAC norms and standards.
- Problem-solving, analytical, planning and communication skills.
- Ability to perform quality checks and follow safety-in-design principles.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in building services.
- Basic knowledge of Revit MEP.
- Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical building-services software.
- Internship experience with AEC companies.
- Interest in automation and innovation opportunities.
