Associate Content Researcher

Overview

Associate Content Researcher for Morningstar’s Mumbai Managed Investment Data team, working to implement data changes, business rule enhancements, and interface enhancements to improve operations.

What you'll do

• Review and interpret business requirements to propose data and process solutions.
• Use data mining to surface data issues and support data strategy decisions.
• Design new data flows and user interfaces, and build back-end logic for data accuracy.
• Provide solutions and consultations to improve data processing.
• Conduct feasibility analysis and impact analysis for proposed data solutions/methodologies.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure implementation and documentation, acting as a data escalation point.

What you'll need

• 3–6 years in business/data analysis, preferably in capital markets, wealth management, or asset management.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, economics, or business.
• Understanding of database structure and design.
• Experience with SQL.
• Basic programming and Python/database skills (preferred).
• Strong quantitative and business analysis skills.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal/presentation/written).
