Overview
You will lead Applied AI Architects in Beneficial Deployments, acting as the primary technical partners for mission-driven non-profits adopting Claude and helping scale this work into an ecosystem-level capability.
What you'll do
- Lead, grow, and mentor a globally distributed team of Architects serving mission-driven non-profits.
- Set the vision, strategy, and operating model for Applied AI from discovery through deployment.
- Define hiring plans, team structure, and career development paths as the team scales globally.
- Partner with segment leads and senior partner leadership to understand requirements and shape engagements.
- Drive scalable programs including cohort-based accelerators and Claude Code enablement.
- Identify patterns across partners and segments to inform ecosystem-level outputs (e.g., MCPs, evals, reference implementations, shared infrastructure).
- Represent Anthropic externally and travel to partner sites for workshops and technical deep dives.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of experience in technical, customer-facing roles (e.g., Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar).
- 7+ years of engineering or technical leadership experience, preferably scaling customer-facing/forward-deployed teams globally.
- Experience working with or inside mission-driven organizations (education, healthcare, scientific research, global development, nonprofits).
- Familiarity with LLM implementation patterns such as prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, agent frameworks, and retrieval systems.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Strong executive presence and ability to build trusted relationships with senior partner leadership.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and coaching abilities.
Details
- Travel is 30–40% due to the global nature of the team and events.
- Location-based hybrid policy: expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
