Overview
Applied AI Engineer (Enterprise Tech) who serves as a technical product advisor to digital native businesses adopting the Claude API. You’ll guide customers from technical discovery through deployment, including architecture guidance, evaluation frameworks, workshops, and creating reusable assets.
What you'll do
- Advise customers on deploying new products and workflows with Anthropic models from discovery through deployment.
- Translate customer business requirements into technical solutions alongside account executives and solutions architects.
- Influence technical architecture decisions by developing customized pilots, prototypes, and evaluation suites.
- Run hands-on technical workshops and perform code reviews with customer engineering teams.
- Identify common design patterns and feed insights back to Product and Engineering teams.
- Create scalable public and internal assets, including documentation on LLM prompting, evaling, agentic, and architecture techniques.
- Maintain knowledge of LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks.
What you'll need
- 4+ years of experience in technical roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Software Engineer, or Technical Product Manager.
- Production experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, transcript analysis, MCP, and deployment at scale.
- Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and execute across domains.
- High cooperation mindset for cross-organizational collaboration.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Details
- Work mode: hybrid policy with staff expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
- Office requirement: 3 days in office per week.
- Travel: travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops, implementation support, and relationship building.
