Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain the frontend, infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and publishing processes for Okta’s documentation platforms.

What you'll do

• Build, maintain, and improve documentation site infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Support internal customers including Builder Experience teams.
• Help ensure technical writers are unblocked in day-to-day authoring work.
• Provide cross-regional support to Builder Experience teams.
• Collaborate with DocTool Leads on documentation site UX, content structure, and versioning.
• Implement frontend changes on help.okta.com and developer.okta.com.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
• Experience with OpenAPI.
• Experience with JAMstack architecture.
• Experience with DITA, Redocly, VuePress, or similar documentation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub, CircleCI, Vercel, and Artifactory.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools for coding and workflow automation.

• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• Work mode: Hybrid; minimum of 2 days onsite per week.
