Overview
AI and Automation Engineer responsible for designing and building production-grade automation tools and full-stack web enhancements, including AI/LLM integrations and data/reporting workflows.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Python, Django, JavaScript, TypeScript.
- Integrate LLM APIs for chat completions, function calling, prompt-driven workflows, RAG basics, and streaming experiences.
- Build reusable automation components for data extraction, document processing, reporting, workflow orchestration, and API integrations.
- Enhance Django applications by implementing views, routing, models, migrations, templates, middleware, sessions, and multi-database configurations.
- Create frontend interactions using jQuery/vanilla JavaScript, AJAX, DOM manipulation, event handling, Bootstrap, and JSON APIs.
- Develop data and reporting workflows using MySQL/PostgreSQL and build PowerBI dashboards and reports.
- Implement browser automation using Selenium and Playwright and apply secure integration practices (REST APIs, SSO/session auth, CSRF, credential storage).
What you'll need
- About 5 years of relevant software/automation/AI-enabled application development experience.
- Strong hands-on Python experience for production-ready scripts, services, automation, and API integrations.
- Solid Django experience across views, routing, models/migrations, templates, middleware, sessions, and multi-database configurations.
- Strong JavaScript experience using jQuery and vanilla JavaScript for AJAX, DOM/event handling, Promises/fetch, and JSON API integration.
- Working knowledge of TypeScript, including typed code, interfaces, basic generics, and understanding type errors.
- Practical exposure to LLM API integration concepts including prompt design, function calling, RAG basics, token-limit considerations, and SSE streaming.
- Strong MySQL and PostgreSQL experience including queries, migrations, indexes, and basic performance tuning.
