Software Engineer II - Full Stack – Identity Platform

Overview

Software Engineer II (Full Stack) for the Identity Platform team in India. The role focuses on frontend engineering and modern web experiences, with contributions across the stack from design to production.

What you'll do

• Own and develop user interfaces, APIs, and identity-related capabilities for customers and internal agents.
• Build the UI for customers and internal agents to debug particular attacks.
• Create a framework and specification for quickly adding new data sources.
• Work with distributed systems and messaging-based/event-driven architectures for scalable product experiences.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define interfaces and make trade-offs.
• Write maintainable code with automated tests, documentation, and operational runbooks, and participate in reviews.
• Participate in on-call and production support to investigate issues and improve reliability and observability.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production web applications.
• Full-stack development experience with meaningful frontend contributions and strong backend fundamentals.
• Proficiency in a modern frontend framework, preferably React, plus strong JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS foundations.
• Backend services and API development experience using Python, Go, Java, or a comparable language.
• Strong CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, testing, debugging, and software design.
• Cloud experience with AWS and familiarity with containerization/deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and efficient, maintainable data access logic.
