Staff+ Software Engineer, Cybersecurity Products

Overview

Staff+ Software Engineer for Claude Security, partnering across research and go-to-market to build security capabilities from prototype to production.

What you'll do

• Build and ship user-facing and/or backend features for Claude Security.
• Develop agent loops, tool integrations, and enabling infrastructure for cybersecurity products.
• Collaborate with product managers and go-to-market teams to define feature scope and tradeoffs.
• Iterate quickly using user feedback and internal testing to continuously improve the experience.
• Work with research teams to identify and develop new model capabilities for security applications.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and/or Go.
• Experience building distributed systems.
• Ability to contribute across the stack from front-end UI to back-end infrastructure.
• Comfort working closely with research and go-to-market teams.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional effectiveness.
