Overview

Staff+ Software Engineer on Anthropic’s Platform Ecosystem team, driving 0→1 platform efforts that help industries build on Claude.

What you'll do

• Drive 0→1 efforts from ideation through delivery.
• Partner with product, design, research, and forward-deployed engineers.
• Build capabilities, integrations, and workflows for industries’ needs.
• Design and operate commercial rails and controls for platform monetization.
• Build systems that let businesses price, package, and sell what they build.
• Take full ownership from design through build, deployment, and operations.
• Iterate on and improve products after launch.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer.
• Some frontend experience.
• Strong product sense.
• Strong technical ability across a wide variety of challenges.
• Comfort using AI tools as part of the software development process.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional partners.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations.

Details

• Annual salary range: $405,000–$485,000 USD.
• Location preference given to candidates based in NY, SEA, SF, or the Bay Area.
• Location-based hybrid policy: expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
• Visa sponsorship: available for some roles/candidates.
