HWDR EMC /EMI - Senior Engineer

Overview

Senior hardware engineer in the Research & Development function, covering EMC/EMI quality assurance, design review and hardware development for local and global automotive projects.

What you'll do

• Identify quality risks for projects and participate in the construction of the Hardware Quality Assurance Plan (KARTE).
• Perform component design review for ECU components, covering quality and reliability in terms of AEC qualification, temperature, ESD and lifecycle.
• Perform circuit design review, including extensive analysis of electrical schematics and checking compliance with RNDS design rules during development and serial phase.
• Perform review of environmental validation test specifications and test reports during development and serial phase.
• Carry out OneVoice EE activities during RFQ for local and global projects.
• Manage component shortage crisis and obsolescence.
• Attend technical meetings and customer reporting.
• Support suppliers on technical questions.
• Design and develop hardware for different local project needs.
• Understand upcoming new automotive hardware evolution and share it with team members and PDEs.
