Implementation Associate ( Data Migration )

Overview

The Data Migration role covers booking trades, tax lots and positions, pricing securities, calculating P&L, booking non-trading accruals, bringing cash balances in line and tying out NAV to the fund administrator, so that clients start trading out of Enfusion with clean P&L and NAV.

What you'll do

• Perform conversion projects for migrating clients' data from their fund administrators or legacy systems to Enfusion software.
• Be responsible for trade, position and cash reconciliations.
• Identify and determine the root cause of breaks.
• Perform daily and monthly tasks related to P&L, reconciliations and financial statements review.
• Process corporate actions, both mandatory and voluntary.
• Apply a clear understanding of tax lot methodologies: FIFO, High Cost, Min Tax, manual lot unwinds, options assignments and exercises, swap resets and FX rolls.
• Perform monthly trial balance reconciliations against fund administrator data and NAV validation.
• Provide regular status updates on projects.
• Be an SME and point of contact for resolution of operational issues and work on ad-hoc client projects.

What you'll need

• Experience performing data/portfolio migration for hedge funds or asset management companies.
• Financial domain knowledge: cash equities, foreign exchange (FX), listed and OTC derivatives, fixed income, exotic and structured products.
• Hands-on experience in reconciliations, processing corporate actions, accrual postings, GAV and NAV calculations.
• Understanding of reference data, trade capture, corporate actions and P&L calculations.
• Detail-oriented and analytical.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible to work in all three shifts: APAC, EMEA and US.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a middle/back office or fund accounting role at a hedge fund, prime broker or fund administrator.

Nice to have

• Experience in Geneva, EZE, VPM, Bloomberg or Reuters.
