IND Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Staff Software Engineer responsible for designing scalable, fault-tolerant software systems and leading architecture, cloud, and application engineering initiatives.

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant software systems using modern architecture patterns.
• Lead AWS application architecture and reusable deployment pattern standardization.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical excellence initiatives.
• Troubleshoot software and infrastructure issues to maintain availability and performance.
• Automate disaster recovery, high availability, and fault-tolerance strategies.
• Lead GenAI and Agentic AI integration into enterprise applications.
• Drive continuous improvement and solve customer problems with modern technologies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of experience leading a team.
• Expertise in software development, architecture, and design.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, Java or .NET, Angular or React, and cloud platforms.
• Experience designing and developing REST/SOAP API services as both consumer and provider.
• Experience with continuous integration, DevOps tools, and Scaled Agile practices.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the employee benefits domain and claimant experience.
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of implementing GenAI solutions.
