India - QA Analyst

Overview

QA Analyst role focused on manual and SQL-based testing of applications, including test planning, defect management and end-to-end testing.

What you'll do

• Create Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts.
• Categorize severity incidents and report based on severity.
• Interface with developers to resolve technical issues.
• Perform data driven testing using extensive data in the test scripts.
• Perform all phases of end-to-end testing, including User Acceptance Testing.
• Perform functionality testing and regression testing of the application and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation, ensuring maximum test coverage and efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues and improve overall product quality.
• Write SQL and PL/SQL scripts to verify large file updates, inserts and deletes of records.
• Handle RTM, documentation and handover activities.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL and manual testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Must have skills: expertise in SQL and manual testing.
• Good knowledge of RTM, documentation and handover activities.
• Tools: Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation using Selenium and TestNG.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in automated testing and quality engineering, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage.
