Overview

The Indirect Tax Data Analyst supports indirect tax technology initiatives across jurisdictions, including VAT, GST, and transaction taxes.

What you'll do

• Manage tax system changes for rates, taxability, exemptions, and ticket requests.
• Drive automation, analytics, and process improvements across tax functions.
• Map and understand data flows from source systems to external government portals.
• Perform data analysis to identify risks and support compliance and audit readiness.
• Assist with audit-related activities and provide ad hoc support for tax projects.
• Support data flow mapping for compliance and operational efficiency improvements.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in data, tax, or analytics roles.
• Strong analytical, data, and problem-solving skills.
• Project management and stakeholder communication experience.
• Knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with automation and analytics tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with tools and technologies such as Python, SQL, Alteryx, and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS) is expected.
