Industrial Engineer

Overview

Industrial Engineer role focused on improving productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance across manufacturing and operational processes.

What you'll do

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement process optimization initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and throughput.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Kaizen events.
• Perform capacity analysis, production planning support, and line balancing/manpower optimization.
• Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and drive improvement actions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• 8–15 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or operations excellence.
• Occasional travel may be required to supplier or customer sites.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (explicit in responsibilities).

• Reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
• Works onsite in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, India.
