Infrastructure Automation & AI - Vice President

Overview

Vice President, Infrastructure Automation & AI will lead the strategy, delivery, governance, and operational excellence of an Agentic Infrastructure, enabling agents to provision, govern, operate and observe multi-layer frameworks and workflows in partnership with all teams.

What you'll do

• Define and execute the roadmap for Platform Engineering Infrastructure Automation & AI.
• Drive enterprise-wide automation across Self-Service, Event Driven Automation and Agentic automation.
• Partner and help lead an AI first Strategy in all teams.
• Lead functional areas including Compute Engineering (Windows, Unix/Linux, OpenShift, NC2), Infrastructure Automation, Terraform Enterprise (Multi-Cloud), Ansible Automation Platform, Enterprise Configuration Management, Enterprise Image Bakery, ServiceNow Self-Service Automation, Observability, Private Cloud Services, SecCM, RPA and DevX.
• Ensure reliability, availability, performance, and resiliency of enterprise platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement through agentic automation and engineering best practices.
• Improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort through self-service capabilities and agentic workflows.
• Maintain accountability for technology risk, operational risk, and cybersecurity controls.
• Ensure audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and timely remediation of control issues.
• Strengthen governance and security practices across all managed services.
• Partner with the AI group and AROW team for AI adoption.
• Lead and develop managers, engineers, product owners, and platform teams in AI.
• Stand in front of all layers of people and convey a strategy that can be understood.
• Act as a focal point for technical presentations, demos, and lunch and learns.

What you'll need

• 20+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud, Platform Engineering, or Enterprise Technology.
• Proven leadership and experience of creating and managing an Agentic Infrastructure.
• Strong experience driving agentic automation, modernization, and operational transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated success leading globally distributed teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Fluent in building AI applications, API and Library Marketplace, Architecture & Design.
• Core skills in Terraform, Ansible, Compute, Cloud (AWS, Azure), Private Cloud.
• Core skills in Developer Experience Tools & Automation: DevSecOps, CI/CD, Developer Tools, end-to-end automation, ServiceNow Automation.
• Core skills in Risk & Resiliency.
• Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and influencing skills.

• Good to have: GCC Leadership; PDLC and SDLC.

• Location: Hyderabad only (relocation benefits included for outstation candidates).
• Work mode: Officer working, 4 days at office.
• Schedule: 2 pm to 11 pm IST.
