Infrastructure Consultant - Red Hat Consulting (UK Public Sector)

Overview

Infrastructure Consultant for UK public sector projects, working as a technical subject matter expert to design and deliver secure, resilient infrastructure solutions.

What you'll do

• Serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert on-site.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure architectures.
• Assist with project-related activities, both technical and non-technical.
• Act as a trusted advisor and support delivery against project expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and maintain strong client and team relationships.
• Evaluate emerging technology trends and apply new solutions to meet evolving needs.

What you'll need

• Active UK highest-level defence security clearance is essential.
• Experience with Linux system administration (RHEL preferred).
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation technologies, including Red Hat Ansible and Terraform (or similar).
• Experience with virtualization technologies in large-scale enterprise environments (e.g., RHEV/oVirt, VMware).
