Designated Senior Technical Support Engineer

Overview

Designated Senior Technical Support Engineer role supporting and resolving data protection issues for Cohesity NetBackup Software and Flex Appliances.

What you'll do

• Deliver polished, high-touch technical product support for NetBackup Software and Flex Appliances.
• Document and resolve post-sales technical support problems using internal tools and procedures.
• Manage a diverse case load with problems varying in priority and impact.
• Collaborate with internal partners to meet customer expectations for renewals.
• Reproduce customer environments to troubleshoot issues.
• Research and provide technical advisement and best practices to optimize product performance.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Experience with networking and enterprise data backup solutions, particularly NetBackup or InfoScale.
• Enterprise-level technical support experience using advanced troubleshooting methods on NetBackup Core and/or Appliance or InfoScale.
• Expert-level knowledge of contemporary operating systems, cloud platforms, advanced networking concepts, storage, and computer security concepts.
• Expert-level knowledge of NetBackup features and NetBackup Appliances or InfoScale.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to self-manage a fluctuating workload while servicing multiple demanding customers.

Details

• Location: United Kingdom (Remote).
• On occasion, travel for customer site visits and/or departmental meetings; annual travel expected to be less than 10%.
