Infrastructure Engineer, Associate

Overview

Associate-level Infrastructure Engineer role focused on engineering and deploying infrastructure for departmental applications and services, supporting availability and cost-effective delivery.

What you'll do

• Engineer technical infrastructures for departmental applications and services.
• Work on service or change initiatives to ensure availability.
• Maintain, manage, and deploy technology infrastructure for function or investment projects.
• Review deployment documentation for departmental infrastructure components.
• Assist with base build of the development environment and handover to application and development teams.
• Build and manage the user acceptance testing environment during system migration.
• Create technical test plans, record results, and coordinate with application and development teams to conduct tests.
• Create technical implementation plans and running books for system deliveries.

What you'll need

• Experience with microservices technologies including Java 21/Spring 3+.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Rest APIs, migration, and AWS at scale.
• 4+ years of experience in the above areas.
• Ability to work with design authorities to deploy cost-effective and resilient solutions.
• Experience contributing to roadmaps and strategies.
• Ability to work closely with third parties, assuring output and managing performance.
