Instructional Designer

Overview

Design and develop global learning and development programs and materials for teammates and leaders across the company. The role covers virtual and in-person instructor-led training, eLearning, job aids, guides, videos, and other learning formats.

What you'll do

• Design and develop training interventions across on-demand, instructor-led, and hybrid modalities.
• Apply instructional design methodologies, standards, ADDIE, and Agile methods.
• Use authoring and learning design tools to create development content.
• Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to identify learning opportunities.
• Create global learning design standards and brand guidelines.
• Observe designed instructor-led training and evaluate material quality and flow.
• Represent learner needs and improve learning technology and design efforts.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of instructional design or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Instructional Technology, Education, or Communication, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with online instructional strategies and methodologies.
• Experience using Articulate, Storyline, Captivate, or other authoring tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• English reading, writing, and verbal skills.

Nice to have

• Graphic design or marketing/advertising background.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design software.
• Experience with video or audio editing software.
• Experience in a larger global learning and development department.

Details

• Work 02:00 PM–11:00 PM to provide coverage for U.S. time zones, with some flexibility for project completion.
• Location: India.
