Intermediate Software Engineer

Overview

Contribute to the design, development, integration, testing, and support of custom software solutions across the Q2 platform. The role covers front-end and back-end components and involves collaboration in a fast-paced development environment.

What you'll do

• Design software solutions of moderate complexity.
• Implement and test software solutions.
• Integrate solutions with internal systems and external services.
• Deliver solutions to live production systems.
• Support and maintain custom features.
• Assist and mentor teammates with technical guidance.
• Provide occasional on-call or emergency support.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree without experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Web development experience.
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience contributing in an Agile development environment.
