Overview

A 10–12 week Summer 2026 internship in Visa's Tech Unit, working on software engineering assignments with exposure to business leaders and executives.

What you'll do

• Work on challenging assignments over a 10–12 week internship.
• Gain exposure to Visa business leaders and executives.
• Participate in social and networking opportunities.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive Design, Accessibility, Objective C, and/or Android SDK.
• Familiarity with software development methodology used to structure, plan, and control the process of software development.
• Experience with user research and user centered design.
• Experience with usability (e.g., as a tester, analyst, or developer using user-centered data).
• Knowledge of user interface design as applied to Web-based applications and mobile devices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong ability to collaborate.
• Highly motivated, resourceful and ability to work independently with initial guidance and direction.
• Teamwork, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and ability to lead by influence and example.
• Project management skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication, including large-group presentations.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Training in C/C++ and Object-Oriented design.
• Experience with accessibility (Section 508 and/or WCAG 2.0).
• Knowledge of both Macs and PCs.

Details

• Hybrid position based in Bengaluru, India.
• At least 3 days in office; expectations confirmed by the Hiring Manager.
