Intern - Data Analytics

Overview

Intern for Data Analytics with Western Digital’s Head Backend Business Unit, focused on manufacturing analytics at a precision technology environment in the Philippines.

What you'll do

• Support development of operational dashboards and engineering reports.
• Extract, clean, and perform exploratory analysis on manufacturing datasets.
• Write Python/SQL/Power BI scripts or queries to automate manual reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate data needs into analytical outputs.
• Complete a defined analytics internship project and present final results.
• Participate in structured learning and check-in sessions throughout the program.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with strong analytics/programming focus.
• Minimum 3rd-year standing.
• Proficiency in Python and/or SQL.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis or data visualization via academic or personal projects.
• Availability for a 3–6 month internship.
• The internship should be supported by the academic program for credit or allowance.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
