Overview
Intern role in FDV/PCV supporting NAND product engineering validation and characterization activities.
What you'll do
- Support NAND validation projects from start to finish, including coverage planning and development timeline planning.
- Plan and implement test development before silicon availability and execute validation flow analysis.
- Design novel test algorithms and develop test programs for NAND features, commands, timings, and currents.
- Characterize, debug, and validate NAND against data sheet specifications and customer designs/systems.
- Use high-speed tester hardware for functional and design validation of new NAND devices.
- Analyze large data sets to prove design margin and functionality and drive issues to closure.
- Assist NAND design bring-up, validation, reticle experiments, and firmware changes.
What you'll need
- Strong interest in design validation.
- Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics, characterization techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to be self-driven.
- Software development proficiency in C-based programming and scripting (Perl, Python).
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Simulation software know-how (Verilog, Synopsis VCS) is listed as a plus.
