Quantitative Developer

Overview

Junior Quant Developer on the Platform & Operations team, building and maintaining systems, interfaces, and tools that support day-to-day portfolio management operations.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain systems, interfaces, and tools for portfolio management workflows.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and developers to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve issues in existing tools and infrastructure.
• Monitor and support production systems, responding to incidents and ensuring reliability.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
• Continuously improve team productivity using modern development tools and practices.

What you'll need

• Technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical experience with Python and/or C++.
• Working knowledge of Bash scripting and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking.
• Proficiency in English communication (written and verbal).

• Estimated salary range: $125,000 to $175,000, specific to New York.
