Intern, Field Design Advisory

Overview

Internship supporting Field Operations delivery across international markets, focused on analytics, reporting and operational processes that improve field force effectiveness, incentive operations and call plan management.

What you'll do

• Support data-driven field and commercial execution processes.
• Perform analytics, including trend identification and variance analysis.
• Build and perform automated data validation and quality checks on input datasets.
• Assist in preparing dashboards and reports for HQ stakeholders and field forces across countries (IC, call planning, targeting, performance metrics).
• Support process documentation (SOPs, trackers, workflows).
• Create and deliver field performance excellence deliverables (field target setting, field incentive design and modelling, incentive operations and reporting) in alignment with agreed SoWs (timeliness, accuracy, quality).
• Deliver field excellence reporting and insights.
• Ensure exemplary communication with internal associates, business colleagues and external stakeholders through regular updates on accomplishments, KPIs, best practices, staffing changes and key events.
• Comply with internal functional operating procedures, including time tracking, KPI tracking and reporting, and other internal systems and processes.
• Comply with Novartis operating procedures as per legal, IT and HR requirements.

What you'll need

• Skills in data ETL platforms (PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL, Snowflake, Dataiku etc.).
• Skills in workflow management and automation tools (viz SharePoint, MS PowerApps, etc.).
• Skills in reporting and visualization platforms (viz PowerBI, PowerPoint).
• Skills in analytical platforms and methods (viz Excel, Python, Data Science, Machine Learning).
• Background in digital technologies and AI.
• Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Good understanding of the Pharma ecosystem.
