IT Internship Program (January - June 2027)

Overview

An IT internship at Edwards Lifesciences' IT Hub in Pune, India, for the January to June 2027 cycle. Selected candidates are matched to technology projects based on business needs, technical skills, academic background, and career interests.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the development, testing, support, and implementation of technology solutions.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to solve real-world challenges and improve business processes.
• Assist with data analysis, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled initiatives.
• Support software development, application enhancement, and cloud-based technology projects.
• Document requirements, workflows, technical designs, and project outcomes.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Present recommendations and project updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Learn and apply industry best practices in software engineering, data management, analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and information technology.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Available to participate in a full-time internship from January 2027 through June 2027.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Demonstrated interest in technology, software development, data analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, cloud technologies, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong learning agility, initiative, and desire to take on new challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience with or coursework in one or more of the following: Python, SQL, Data Analytics and Reporting, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Technologies, Software Development, Business Analysis, Power BI or Data Visualization Tools, Git, CI/CD, or related development practices.
• Experience through academic, personal, open-source, or project-based work is highly valued.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
