Intern - Maintenance Engineering & Services

Overview

An internship in Airbus Maintenance Engineering and Services, shadowing Maintenance Program and Services Engineers to learn how aircraft maintenance services are planned and delivered for airlines.

What you'll do

• Shadow Maintenance Program and Services Engineers and observe the lifecycle of Scheduled Maintenance Services.
• Gain foundational exposure to Aircraft Maintenance Planning concepts and regulations.
• Learn about Airbus fleet optimization strategies.
• Contribute to reducing Direct Maintenance Costs.
• Help establish and deliver timely and consistent solutions to customer requests.
• Support the production of Scheduled Maintenance Services covering all Airbus A/C programs.
• Support ensuring that airline maintenance programmes and planning deliverables meet customer expectations.
• Contribute to a Technical Data improvement or transformation project as a Technical Data Aircraft System - Business Operations representative.

What you'll need

• Educated to AME or degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline.
• General technical knowledge of aircraft, their maintenance and their operations.
• Well organized and structured, with good computer knowledge and GSuite knowledge.
• Knowledge of EASA Part-M regulation and Airlines/MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) - Part M/145.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Highly customer service oriented.
• Good listener, proactive and creative.
• Reactivity and adaptability in a changing and demanding environment.
• Negotiation level of English.
