Intern - QA Engineer - Royal Lounge Casino

Overview

This internship places you on the Royal Lounge Casino QA team at Scopely in Bangalore, working on a hybrid basis to test and evaluate mobile casino games.

What you'll do

• Learn and execute functional, regression, exploratory, and compatibility testing for mobile, web, desktop, and game applications.
• Play and evaluate games to identify issues in gameplay, features, UI, performance, and the overall player experience.
• Write, maintain, and execute test cases, checklists, and test scenarios under the guidance of QA engineers and leads.
• Reproduce, document, and track defects with clear steps, expected and actual results, and relevant screenshots, videos, logs, or other evidence.
• Retest fixes and perform regression testing to confirm that changes do not introduce new issues.
• Work with QA engineers, developers, producers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate test results.
• Assist with test environment setup, test data preparation, and maintaining QA documentation.
• Share testing status, risks, blockers, and observations in a timely and clear manner.

What you'll need

• Good analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, or a strong willingness to learn test design, defect reporting, and QA processes.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Ability to work collaboratively, accept feedback, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Curiosity, patience, and willingness to investigate issues until they are understood and clearly communicated.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of test automation or scripting.
