Overview

Motivated intern on the Zoetis Tech & Digital team at the Zoetis India Capability Center in Hyderabad, gaining hands-on experience on meaningful projects.

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications across the stack
• Front-end: React or Vue
• Back-end: Node.js/Express or Python/Java
• APIs: REST and/or GraphQL
• Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and basic observability (logs/metrics)
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code; follow version control best practices (Git)
• Conduct and participate in code reviews; troubleshoot and fix issues across the stack
• Build Python scripts to automate tasks, clean/transform data, and create simple utilities
• Query, transform, and validate datasets using SQL (joins, aggregations, data quality checks)
• Assist with data analysis, reporting, and lightweight dashboards
• Document code, queries, and processes; contribute to basic testing (unit/integration)
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver actionable outputs

What you'll need

• Pursuing B.Tech (4th Year, 2nd Semester) in Computer Science / IT or related field
• Strong understanding of any programming language and OOP concepts
• Basic knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and version control tools (Git)
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

• Exposure to data visualization (e.g., matplotlib) and basic CI workflows
