Overview
Investor Relations Lead to manage investor communication, engagement, and investor-facing materials while working closely with founders, finance, and investors.
What you'll do
- Manage communication and engagement with existing and prospective investors.
- Prepare investor updates, board decks, quarterly reports, and other investor-facing materials.
- Coordinate investor meetings, calls, follow-ups, and ongoing communication.
- Support fundraising processes including investor research, pitch materials, data rooms, and diligence.
- Track and report key business, financial, and operating metrics.
- Maintain investor CRM, communication records, and investor documentation; respond to investor requests.
- Conduct ad-hoc business analysis and market research for investor conversations.
What you'll need
- 7-10 years of experience in investor relations or a similar role.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Ability to understand complex information and communicate it clearly and concisely.
- Comfort working directly with founders, investors, and senior leadership.
- Experience preparing board materials, investor updates, presentations, or financial analyses.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- High ownership, independence, and discretion with confidential information.
Nice to have
- Experience at a high-growth, venture-backed startup.
- Exposure to fundraising processes from Seed to Series C+.
- Background in investment banking, consulting, VC, or corporate strategy.
- Familiarity with SaaS, AI, or technology businesses.
- Understanding of startup metrics such as ARR, growth, retention, CAC, LTV, and unit economics.
