IOT C++ Developer(Sonic)

Overview

IoT C++ Developer (Sonic) technical lead role focused on embedded and Linux-based software development and maintenance.

What you'll do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance C++ applications for embedded and Linux-based systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable C++ code (C++11/14/17) and demonstrate coding ability during technical interviews.
• Develop unit tests using GTest and maintain code quality with tools such as SonarQube.
• Integrate third-party dependencies using Conan and maintain build workflows using CMake.
• Debug complex issues using gdb and Linux system tools with low-level diagnostics.
• Create shell scripts for automation, integration, and development workflows.
• Apply containerization practices using Docker and/or Podman for development and deployment environments.

What you'll need

• 5 to 8 years of experience (listed as technical lead experience level).
• Expert-level proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17).
• Proficiency with GTest, SonarQube, Conan, Shell Scripting, CMake, and gdb.
• Strong understanding of Linux CLI, system programming, and embedded software concepts.
• Working knowledge of containerization using Docker and/or Podman.
• Deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency patterns, and synchronization mechanisms.
• Experience creating and maintaining architecture/design diagrams using PlantUML.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MQTT protocols and Cloud technologies.
