Overview
Develop and own secure, high-performance endpoint agents for desktop and mobile platforms in ZTNA and VPN environments.
What you'll do
- Design endpoint agent systems using Golang, C++, or Swift across Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Linux.
- Implement secure tunnelling, TLS and encryption handling, identity-aware access control, and traffic steering.
- Deliver complex features aligned with SASE/ZTNA architecture and security standards.
- Optimize agent and networking code for low latency, high availability, and consistent policy enforcement.
- Lead debugging of production, networking, tunnelling, and protocol-level issues.
- Improve logging, telemetry, diagnostics, and end-to-end traffic visibility.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to design and architecture discussions.
What you'll need
- 5–8 years of experience in C++ or Go application development.
- Experience building and owning production client applications for desktop or mobile platforms.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, SSL/TLS, and distributed network programming.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performance systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise debugging system-level and networking-related production issues.
- Experience using AI tools in development.
Nice to have
- Experience with ZTNA, VPN, or secure tunnelling in production.
- Knowledge of TLS internals, encryption, identity-based access control, and secure traffic handling.
- Experience building endpoint agents or client-side networking components.
- Advanced cross-platform client development experience.
- Experience troubleshooting packet drops, tunnel failures, DNS issues, and certificate problems.

- Hybrid role requiring an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
