Uztna Client Agent Developer

Overview

Uztna Client Agent Developer to design, develop, and own core endpoint agent systems for ZTNA and VPN environments.

What you'll do

• Design and develop endpoint agent systems for Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Linux.
• Implement networking and security capabilities such as secure tunnelling and TLS/encryption handling.
• Deliver complex features aligned with the SASE/ZTNA architecture and security standards.
• Optimize and evolve existing agent and networking codebases for low latency, high availability, and consistent policy enforcement.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues including tunnelling failures and protocol-level problems.
• Improve observability and diagnostics with logging, telemetry, and endpoint-to-cloud traffic visibility.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to design and architectural discussions for agent development.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years of experience in C++ or Go application development for production-grade systems.
• 5–10 years of technical experience in client application development (desktop and/or mobile).
• Strong network programming and protocol knowledge including TCP/IP, UDP, and SSL/TLS.
• Ability to design and build scalable, secure, high-performance systems focused on reliability and resilience.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes and integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience debugging complex production issues including system-level and networking-related problems.

• Work mode is Hybrid with an average requirement to work 2 days per week from an HPE office.
