IT Risk - Senior Analyst

Overview

Senior Analyst in the IT Risk team supporting branch technology risk management as part of the second line, within the Asia Risk Management Office.

What you'll do

• Run branch local Global KRI and SII analysis and response, under supervision and guidance from the regional technology risk team.
• Monitor and observe 1st Line management meetings and conduct review and challenge.
• Perform regulatory guideline analysis and provide the 2nd Line opinion or response.
• Support branch IT Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA), including review and challenge of 1st Line RCSA and control testing output.
• Provide subject matter expertise from the second line on the principles, processes and technical aspects of Cyber and IT Security.
• Provide global cyber trend input and awareness insights.
• Work in close partnership with the Asia Risk Management Office, Systems Office for Asia, Internal Audit Office for Asia and APAC branches to manage technology risk initiatives in line with regulatory requirements, MUFG internal policies and industry best practices.

What you'll need

• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk and cyber security concepts.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience executing technology and/or security risk assessment and testing methodologies, evaluating the adequacy and efficiency of security controls, and identifying issues from internal and/or external compliance reviews.
• Experience creating and reviewing work papers to document testing and/or issue closure for technology issue management, including management of regulatory matters.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services.
• Experience automating controls or the ability to conceptualise automated control solutions.
