Java Application Engineer, Aladdin Wealth Technology, Associate

Overview

Associate Java Application Engineer working on backend services for My Managed Accounts (MMA) within Aladdin Wealth Technology.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot).
• Develop backend services, integrations, and workflow capabilities for user experiences.
• Apply AI-driven tools and approaches to improve development and automation.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver solutions.
• Solve complex problems to improve system performance and reliability.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• API-first microservices experience using REST/gRPC.
• Experience building microservices with modern engineering tools (Git, Maven, unit/integration testing, mocking frameworks).
• Solid object-oriented design and use of standard design patterns.
• Interest or experience in AI/ML or AI-assisted development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java 17+.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with React or similar and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
