Job description

Overview

Java Microservices Developer role focused on backend development using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Kafka.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop technical solutions from business and technical requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for application and process improvement.
  • Share and report risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and upcoming tasks.
  • Lead and manage technical aspects of API framework design and development.
  • Support production incident handling including RCA for delivered features.
  • Work with AWS design and workflow tools such as Camunda BPM.

What you'll need

  • 7+ years of backend development experience.
  • Strong focus on Java, microservices, and Kafka.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and backend web services.
  • Expected knowledge of Kafka and basic knowledge of database.
  • Experience with TDD and BDD.
  • Experience with one cloud: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containers.

Nice to have

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Knowledge of Kafka.
