Java Developer

Overview

Java Developer role at IQVIA in Bangalore, building and maintaining Java-based applications and REST APIs.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain Restful APIs.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Review functional specifications and interpret them into technical specifications.
• Apply structured software development techniques including requirements analysis, functional decomposition, modelling, prototyping, functional design, estimating and testing.
• Follow release and build processes.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Extensive experience building Restful APIs.
• Experience working with AWS or Azure Cloud.
• Strong knowledge and experience of OOP concepts and SOLID principles.
• Experience in RDBMS design and development with expertise in PL/SQL.
• Good understanding of release and build process.
• Experience working on at least 1 large to medium scale project with the above technologies.
• Good analytical and reasoning skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Decent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good team player and collaborator.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SSO, LDAP, OAuth and SSL integration.
