Java Developer

Overview

Build high performance, cloud native systems as a Java Developer, blending backend engineering with Java/Spring and modern DevOps practices across Azure.

What you'll do

• Develop Java/Spring Boot based backend applications.
• Design and deploy cloud native applications on Azure (App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, safe releases across environments.
• Work closely with product owner, team members and cross-functional teams to deliver low latency, high reliability solutions.
• Contribute to IaC and cloud automation.

What you'll need

• Java 17 (Java 11 or above).
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with at least 2 years in microservices architecture.
• Microservices.
• Azure (Key Vault, SPN, Azure CLI, Data Lake).
• Has already built a Spring Boot or similar application.
• Spring/Spring Boot with Hibernate JPA patterns.
• Able to write optimized SQL queries.
• Basic Unix commands and OS awareness (Linux/Unix).
• Basic awareness of any public cloud, preferably Azure.
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Tools: GitLab, CI/CD, IntelliJ, VS Code, etc.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Databricks.
• PL/SQL.
• Terraform experience.
• AKS: knows the AKS architecture and best practices.
• Helm: can create Helm charts based on best practices.
• Terraform: good knowledge to provision application infrastructure.
• Other languages: Shell Scripting, Python.
• Good knowledge of any UI technology, preferably Node/React JS.

• Location: Pune - Kharadi (EON-II), India.
• Ready to work from office, 3 days/week.
