Java Developer

Overview

As a Java Developer, you will work on web application development in Java and Spring Boot, assisting with the development and delivery of consumer and enterprise applications within the software development team.

What you'll do

• Write maintainable, testable, and performant software in collaboration with the team.
• Participate in code review.
• Perform extensive testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Research new technology and tools and share findings with the team.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with all team members.

What you'll need

• One of the following degrees or similar: B.Tech Computer Application, B.Tech Computer Science, BE, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Bachelor's of Technology, or Computer Science and Engineering.
• 1-3 years experience building and delivering modern production-grade web applications in a team environment.
• Very strong Java programming skills utilizing Spring Boot or Spring Cloud.
• Deep understanding of the parts that make up a modern web application, including APIs, templating, routing, data storage, design patterns, optimization, caching, and security.
• Fundamental knowledge of core web principles, including HTTP, the DOM, SSL, and web servers.
• Fluency with relational databases or alternatively NoSQL databases.
• Great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
• A love for improving software development workflows and processes.

Nice to have

• Front-end JavaScript framework experience using React, Angular, or similar.
• Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress, AEM, or Sitefinity.
• Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience working with GraphQL, Elasticsearch, Serverless, or Next.js.
