Java Developer

Overview

Develop Java-based client connectivity solutions, including low-latency applications and microservices, for a global banking technology team.

What you'll do

• Design and develop client connectivity platforms.
• Build low-latency solutions using Java and HFT frameworks.
• Translate business requirements across delivery stages.
• Apply coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
• Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues.
• Test and debug applications.
• Advise or coach junior analysts.

What you'll need

• 3–7 years of application development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience with real-time messaging and Java frameworks.
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle.
• Knowledge of document storage such as MongoDB.
• Experience working with threads.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Kotlin.
