Java Developer – ETFs, Investment Management & Spring Boot

Overview

Senior Java Developer focused on the ETF domain, including enterprise application development for ETF creation/redemption and investment management workflows.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support scalable Java applications for ETF and investment management processes.
• Translate ETF business requirements into technical solutions, designs, development tasks, and testable acceptance outcomes.
• Develop and support applications for ETF creation and redemption, fund accounting, NAV calculations, portfolio management, trading operations, analytics, and regulatory reporting.
• Build and support REST APIs and microservices-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and JSON.
• Integrate with market data sources, trading platforms, portfolio management systems, and other financial systems.
• Design and implement data and messaging flows using Kafka, JMS, RabbitMQ, or comparable technologies.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, communicate impacts, and implement fixes.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Practical experience with Java 8, 11, or 17.
• Experience developing enterprise applications with Spring Boot and Spring MVC (REST services and microservices).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON-based integrations (design, develop, consume, test, and support).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalent relational databases.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Git, Maven, and Jenkins/CI/CD pipelines.
