Overview

Java Developer to develop and deliver scalable Java-based enterprise applications, with responsibility for leading and mentoring a team of Java developers.

What you'll do

• Develop, enhance, maintain, test, and deploy Java-based applications and systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, designs, and measurable delivery outcomes.
• Lead, coordinate, and mentor a team of Java developers to support high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and manage dependencies.
• Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, integration challenges, and production incidents.
• Apply Agile/Scrum or comparable iterative methodologies across the delivery lifecycle.
• Review designs, code, test results, and implementation plans to improve solution quality.

What you'll need

• At least 7 years of professional Java development experience.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating a team of Java developers.
• Experience using Java development, testing, debugging, build, and deployment tools.
• Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, or comparable iterative delivery methodologies.
• Experience designing and developing microservices-based applications.
• Practical exposure to cloud application development, deployment, or support.
• Experience developing and executing unit, integration, and functional tests for Java applications.
